After an accidental death in his office Doctor William Greene’s private struggle becomes entangled in the lives of the Gillenwaters, a family of coalminers. Soon the secrets of Doctor Greene and the isolated town are unearthed like coal being blasted from the heart of the mountains. This young doctor’s fall from grace explores the consequences of violence and the beauty of compassion.
